  • All predictors are adjusted for each other, follow-up time and baseline value of the dependent variable. Coefficient of determination (R2) is given for models including all four predictors. Of patients with tibiofemoral OA, those with concomitant patellofemoral OA and/or bilateral disease worsened to a greater extent with regard to self-reported KOOS pain −7(−10 to −4), KOOS symptoms −5(−8 to −1), KOOS ADL −4(−6 to −1), KOOS sport/recreation −9(−14 to −3), KOOS QoL −8(−12 to −4) and one-legged hop −5 cm (−10 to 0).

  • ADL, activities of daily living; BMI, body mas index; KOOS, Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score; OA, osteoarthritis; QoL, quality of life.
