| Blinded scoring was performed according to criteria described previously.6 Presence of lymphoid aggregates (LA), plasma cells (PC), and polymorphonuclear cells (PMN) was scored as either 1 (present) or 0 (absent). Hyperplasia of the lining layer (lining), degree of vascularisation (vasc), and infiltration (infiltr) as well as intensity of peroxidase staining for CD3, CD20, CD68, CD138, and CD146 were scored from 0 to 3 (pp, perivascular pattern). | |||||||||||
