Demographic and clinical data of the 12 patients with RA and the control patients, including seven patients with OA and seven patients with ReA, who were studied for expression of STAT1 and its tyrosine and serine phosphorylated forms. All material was collected in the early 1990s; at that time synovial tissue could be obtained from all patients before DMARD treatment was initiated
