A comprehensive approach to mental health

Rheumafacts
Another new project under the umbrella of the EULAR Research (Epidemiology and Health Services) and Advocacy Committees is RheumaFacts: an evidence-based source of publicly available information on the impact and resources related to rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. With RheumaFacts, EULAR aims to support activities to increase awareness of RMDs and drive politics across Europe to reduce their burden and health inequities. The product will involve timely reports and maps of the impact of RMDs in Europe.
Patient-entered survey on disease impact
Under the auspices of the EULAR Research Centre and in close collaboration with PARE, EULAR will launch a patient-entered survey on disease impact, a registry of data generated directly from people affected by rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs). Through an online, longitudinal survey, patients can share their first-hand experience living with an RMD and how it impacts their quality of life. The data collected will help to identify and quantify gaps in the healthcare system, unmet medical needs and priorities, and opportunities in the workplace among RMD patients.
The EULAR funding programme continues
In 2023, the EULAR Research Centre will continue its Voucher programme, providing pump priming grants, publication support or grant writing support of up to 5000 EUR. Applications are reviewed quarterly, with the next deadline being 30 June 2023.
