In their letter to the editor, Mathieu1 and colleagues provide information that reinforce the conclusions of our recent paper.2 3 We appreciate their interest in our study and complement the authors for their systematic review and meta-analysis of cardiovascular (CV) effects of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), lupus and other diseases.
