Abstract

Dr. Solomon will discuss several areas in his presentation:

1. The concept of morbidities in rheumatoid arthritis;

2. Specific morbidities including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia; and

3. Whether morbidities should be viewed as cause or effect with respect to rheumatoid arthritis.

The discussion will focus on current scientific developments and how they pertain to rheumatology practice.
