Hetland ML, Østergaard M, Ejbjerg B, et al. Short- and long-term efficacy of intra-articular injections with betamethasone as part of a treat-to-target strategy in early rheumatoid arthritis: impact of joint area, repeated injections, MRI findings, anti-CCP, IgM-RF and CR. Ann Rheum Dis 2012;71:851–856. In the first paragraph of the Results section entitled “Number of joint injections and doses of betamethasone” the first reference to figure 1C should actually be to figure 1B, and the first reference to figure 1B should actually be to figure 1C. Therefore, the sentence should read: “A total of 1373 injections were first-time injections, 531 were second-time injections in a previously injected joint and 262 were third time injections (figure 1B). At the baseline visit, 522 injections were given (see figure 1C for details).”

Again in the Results section, under the heading “Long-term efficacy of joint injections” the first reference to figure 1B should actually be to figure 1C (paragraph 2), and the first reference to figure 1C should actually be to figure 1B (paragraph 3).

We apologise for these errors.
