With great interest, we have read Professor Lee’s comments1 concerning our letter ‘Cardiovascular effects of hydroxychloroquine’.2 We completely agree that the relevance of a meta-analysis depends on its completeness, optimally including all published articles and abstracts. Thus, our decision to only search the PubMed database could represent a methodological weakness.
