Abstract

Polymyalgia rheumatic (PMR) is the most common inflammatory arthritis managed in primary care settings. The majority of clinical care is typically provided by General Practitioners (GPs) with evidence suggesting that current management is suboptimal. This talk will highlight some of the key challenges faced by GPs highlighting areas where the diagnosis, monitoring and long term care can be improved.
