With the exceedingly common use of social media, patients have easy access to helpful medical advice and community forums as well as access medical misinformation. Similarly, recruitment of patients for research studies via social networks has skyrocketed. The presentation will describe prior and existing RMD research using social networks and new methodological issues that have arisen from it.
