SP0051 Metabolic Arthropathies (WIN with EULAR)

This lecture is intends to offer the delegates an update on recently published work about metabolic diseases, which present with musculoskeletal symptoms. It is part of the session track called “WIN with EULAR”, which focuses on new developments in different topic areas over the preceding twelve months. “Metabolic arthropathies” will cover crystal-induced arthritides, but also hereditary metabolic disorders with rheumatic manifestations (e.g. hemochromatosis, collagenopathies, lysosomal storage diseases) all depending on the availability of new trends in the literature. In addition, musculoskeletal involvement in other diseases (e.g. hepatic, renal) and paraneoplastic manifestations will be discussed. A conclusive summary on “What is the significance for our work” will sum up the new developments in the various areas.
